New Interactive Metronome® Summer Program for Kids
Brainshape offers an Interactive Metronome® program as part of selected neurodevelopmental assessments and movement-based training programs for children.
Interactive Metronome® is a computer-based assessment and training program that combines rhythmic auditory cues with movement tasks. Researchers continue to investigate its potential role in motor timing, coordination and other aspects of physical performance. Individual outcomes vary, and the evidence base continues to develop.
Low-level laser therapy (photobiomodulation) is a non-invasive treatment that uses specific wavelengths of light. If recommended, your practitioner will discuss whether it may be appropriate for your individual circumstances, together with its potential benefits, limitations and risks.
Summer Program
The Summer Program includes an initial assessment followed by an individualised management plan for children who are considered suitable participants following clinical assessment.
The program may include:
neurodevelopmental assessment
Interactive Metronome® assessment
movement-based activities
consultations where clinically appropriate
low-level laser therapy where appropriate
Recommendations are based on the individual child's presentation and should not replace medical assessment or treatment when indicated.
Program costs and appointment schedules will be discussed during your consultation.
If you would like to learn more about the program or determine whether it may be appropriate for your child, please contact the clinic.
